Dave Paton , CEO and Managing
Partner- Mr. Paton brings
more than thirty years in the hospitality business as a senior executive for
the Hilton, Radisson and Doubletree hotel companies. Prior to EESG, Mr. Paton
co-founded Paramount International Telecom (PIT), which subsequently grew to
more than $100 million in sales worldwide, and was sold for more than $60
million. He has a degree in business administration from the University of New
Hampshire and attended graduate school (MBA studies) at Cornell and University
of Maryland.
David Moody, President and
Co-Founder- Mr. Moody has
over 25 years experience with a successful track record in business development
and executive management, which includes being Executive Chairman of PIT.
Aside from strong entrepreneurial skills, Moody has also served as a policy
advisor to Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, The Carter Institute and recently
provided input on innovative energy reduction technologies to one of President
Obama's energy advisory committees. He has also been actively involved in the
development of practical energy reduction solutions for many years and has
coordinated the development of EESG's unique package of technologies.
Claude Lemay - Mr. Lemay
has been Executive Chairman of EESG since 2008. Mr. Lemay is the founder of a
Montreal-based law firm, McDougall, Lemay and has extensive experience in
international business. He also served as President and CEO of Alis
Technologies and has completed more than $150M in equity financing and has been
involved in several $ billions of M&A transactions as a member of the Board
of Innovatech du Grand Montreal, and the Technology Partnerships Canada
Advisory Board. He is the VP of the Information Technology Association of
Canada and is the CEO of WCIT2012Montreal, the largest ICT conference
worldwide.
Pierre Brochu, Chief Financial
Officer - Mr. Brochu is an energetic and competitive business leader that
has been CEO of technology and telecom companies since 1997. Most recent, he
served as Senior VP Shared Services at CGI. He has also served as President and
CEO of Radical Horizon, Connexim, Telebec limitee, and as Group VP Finance
and Strategy at Bell Canada. Mr. Brochu has often managed annual budgets in
excess of $1 billion.
Robert M. Winn,Senior
Energy Engineer - Mr. Winn is responsible for the overall design and
development of EESG technologies. Rob designed the EMS 2000 and interface
software for the EESG suite of energy reduction systems. Rob has pioneered work
in the fields of wireless, web based HMI and building automation. Rob has also
designed comprehensive, stringent measurement and verification that is widely
recognized and used by several utility companies in California and several
other states.Mr. Winn has over twenty five years experience in the
power generation and energy industry and has been closely involved with the
development of energy conservation projects.He has developed a detailed understanding of the technical,
regulatory and financial issues involved. Mr. Winnhas been responsible for the identification and
development of many metering and energy conservation projects with commercial,
industrial, institutional and government clients.He has authored many economically and technically viable
projects. As a senior member of the EESG team, Mr. Winn helps direct a multi‑discipline
team of financial and technical personnel in evaluating, optimizing and
developing specific recommendations and programs for energy cost reductions.
Rob will continue to play a senior role in the development and success of EESG
Fred Miles, CTO - Mr. Miles
has more than 20 years experience in developing companies from a technical
solutions vantage point. Aside from his early formal education as a UVA
graduate, he has a strong technical background in designing HVAC and database
management systems. He has directed the development of customized VYNX telecom
and facility management software and most recently developed customized
software that integrates EESG Chiller Optimization with a real time M&V SQL
database. He has also designed and managed large-scale communication networks
for major companies and his broad based of knowledge is key to ongoing
development of effective client solutions for the company.
Board of Advisors
Andre Caille - Mr. Caille
brings substantial business experience and a deep understanding of the
alternative energy and clean tech. He has served as Chairman of the Board of
Hydro-Quebec, and President and CEO of the company from 1996 to 2005. He has
also served as professor and coordinator at Quebec's Institut national de la
recherche scientifique; Director of Quebec's environmental protection services;
Deputy Ministry of the province's environment department; and President and CEO
of Gaz Metropolitain. He also serves as the Chancellor of the Universite de Montreal
and Chairman of the World Energy Council. Mr. Caille completed his education at
the Universite de Montreal, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in
specialized chemistry, a master's degree in physical chemistry and a doctorate
in physical chemistry.
Anthony Lacavera - Chairman
and CEO of Globalive Communications Group, an emerging leading provider of next
generation telecommunications solutions globally. Globalive provides a wide
range of services to over 5,000 businesses, 3500 hotels and hospitals
throughout the U.S., Canada and over 30 countries worldwide. Mr. Lacavera has a
close, successful business relationship with EESG principles that spans more
than a decade. Lacavera's commitment to the environment led to the exclusive
agreement with EESG that now offers energy saving technologies throughout
Globalive's substantial client network.
Christian Chagnon holds a Computer Science (B.Sc.A.) degree
from the Universite du Quebec a Montreal and a degree in Business Administration
(MBA) from Universite Laval. He is the managing partner and co-founder of IUGO
Ventures, founded in 2000 and specializing in private investment ventures
involving the development of new technologies. Chagnon was Senior
Vice-President, Strategic Planning and Technology at Groupe Videotron Ltd.
Groupe Videotron was sold in 2000 for 5.4B$. Since 1998, he has served
concurrently as the financial advisor for Sojecci Ltd., the Chagnon family
holding company, handling investments in risk capital funds in North America
and Europe. He sits on the boards of several privately held companies, the
Fondation de l'Hopital Sainte-Justine and the Institut de recherche Hexagram.
In addition to his outstanding acumen as a corporate administrator, Chagnon
brings to EESG LLC leading-edge business expertise and a matchless network of
international financial contacts. He is also a director of the Lucie and Andre
Chagnon Foundation, the largest such foundation in Canada.
